In Vivo Microsystems Technologies CEO Elaine Brady presented “Clinical Translation of Microendoscopes for Fluorescence-Guided Imaging” at the NIH/NIBIB P41 Imaging Center Training Workshop at the University of Michigan.
The workshop brought together investigators, engineers, clinicians, and trainees to explore next-generation biomedical imaging technologies, including molecular imaging, fluorescence-guided endoscopy, microendoscopy, microsystems technologies, and AI-powered image analysis.
Brady's presentation highlighted the translation of microendoscopic and molecular imaging technologies from research through clinical development, using IVMT's experience in developing targeted fluorescence imaging technology as a case study.

IVMT is advancing its Phase II multi-center clinical study evaluating a targeted near-infrared fluorescent peptide heterodimer designed to distinguish benign from malignant indeterminate biliary strictures during cholangioscopy.
The study is being prepared for implementation across multiple academic medical centers.

In Vivo Microsystems Technologies, LLC (IVMT) received NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II funding to advance the clinical development of its targeted molecular imaging technology for gastrointestinal cancer detection.
The award supports a multi-center clinical study evaluating IVMT's near-infrared fluorescent peptide-based imaging agent for the evaluation of indeterminate biliary strictures.
